About us

Named after Judith Wright, the celebrated Australian poet and activist, the Judith Wright Arts Centre (JWAC) is a vibrant and contemporary visual and performing arts hub, located in the heart of Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley.

Home to some of Queensland’s and Australia’s most dynamic arts organisations, JWAC is a creative space for exciting visual arts programming and for the development and presentation of original and innovative contemporary performance works, including cabaret, circus, dance, music, spoken word and multi-disciplinary arts.
