Presented by Flying Arts Alliance
COLOURS OF QUEENSLAND is an outcome of the 2016 Queensland Regional Art Awards. The Awards aim to highlight the wealth of creative talent located outside the capital city, and to provide a platform for further professional development.
This year, artists were asked to consider what brings colour, vibrancy and life to their local community or region. Artists responded to the theme with artworks displaying an exciting array of mediums, treatments, and chromatic interpretations.
The exhibition features the work of 35 regional Queensland artists. Following the show in Brisbane, the exhibition will travel to galleries within the regional Queensland network.
This exhibition has been curated by Andrew Baker (Andrew Baker Art Dealer).
