QPF2017 Distant Voices - Festival Program

Presented by Queensland Poetry Festival

All are welcome to this year’s 21st Queensland Poetry Festival (QPF), which will be a showcase of culturally diverse and global voices, celebrating the power of poetry without borders and spoken word without walls.

QPF2017 Distant Voices will see 80+ sessions featuring over 100 artists, including Ali Cobby Eckermann - 2017 Indigenous Poet in Residence, 2017 Arts Queensland Poet in Residence & Poetry Awards, Australian Poetry Slam - QLD Final, book launches, spoken word theatre, installations, workshops, author micro-talks, viral verse, readings, panels, poetic memoir, sound poetry, hip-hop, film, storytelling, in-conversations and music including a special Leonard Cohen Tribute on opening night Thurs 24 August.
