QPF2017 Each Map of Scars

Presented by Queensland Poetry Festival

What happens when we encounter bodies that are “other”? What is it like to inhabit one?

QPF2017 presents Each Map of Scars – a collaboration between acclaimed poet Andy Jackson, artist/performer Rachael Wenona Guy and videographer/animator Leonie Van Eyk. Based on three poems, this moving and thought-provoking triptych of short performance works brings audiences into an intimate encounter with bodily diversity and human vulnerability.

Each Map of Scars incorporates poetry, puppetry, stop-motion animation, film, photography and sound, and recently played to sold-out audiences at the Castlemaine State Festival.
