QPF: Australian Poetry Slam – QLD Final

Presented by Queensland Poetry Festival

Australia’s biggest spoken word event hits full fever pitch. Sixteen finalists from right around the state slam off in the big one and you get to judge! Plus a feature spoken word set by Canada’s Moe Clark and guest sacrificial poet Josh Donellan. Hosted by slam’s king and queen of the mic, Adam Hadley.
Métis multidisciplinary artist Moe Clark is a nomadic songbird with wings woven from circle singing and spoken word. Mistress of the looping pedal, she creates sonic landscapes of layered voice. Moe has two albums of words and music and a bilingual book of poetry.
Poetry slam is spoken word - loud, live and living.
