Aboriginal Centre for the Performing Arts

The Aboriginal Centre for the Performing Arts (ACPA) is an inspirational centre of training excellence and innovation for contemporary dance, music, and theatre.

Australasian Dance Collective

Australasian Dance Collective is one of Queensland's leading contemporary dance companies, based in Brisbane, Australia.

Birdhouse Cafe

With its large service window opening onto Brunswick Street, The Birdhouse is the resident cafe at The Judith Wright Arts Centre, serving up specialty coffee and delicious take away food. The display fridge and menu feature wraps, sandwiches, fresh salads, toasties and a selection of homemade treats including plenty of gluten-free and vegan options.

BlakDance

For over a decade, BlakDance has consistently delivered generative and transformative sector events and advocates for the development of the small to medium Indigenous dance sector.

Chrysalis

Chrysalis Projects delivers innovative place-based arts and business collaborations, generating employment for artists and creative and cultural experiences for audiences in local precincts destinations.

Chrysalis creates artist-led economic stimulus projects aimed at creating meaningful public art and programs that fostering philanthropy within the community.

Circa Contemporary Circus

Institute of Modern Art (IMA)

Founded in 1975, the Institute of Modern Art is Australia’s oldest independent contemporary art gallery and is at the centre of Queensland’s arts ecology. Entry to the gallery is always free, offering exhibitions by Queensland, Australian, and international artists which amplify voices, ignite curiosity, and inspire change through contemporary art. Open Tuesday–Sunday, 10am–5pm | Thursday, 10am–8pm.

Musica Viva Australia

Musica Viva Australia is the largest presenter of chamber music in the world, a truly national company with activity and offices in almost every Australian state and territory, reaching approximately 360,000 people directly every year by presenting leading Australian and international artists to concert audiences and school students across the country.

Outer Space

Outer Space is a not-for-profit contemporary arts organisation. Outer Space collaborates with artists and arts workers to develop, make, and present critically engaged creative practice in a supportive professional environment.

Outer Space has been selected through a Queensland Government EOI process to manage and activate the Judith Wright Arts Centre (JWAC) gallery space in 2021, supported by a programming budget of up to $100,000 to showcase Queensland artists. Outer Space’s tenancy and programming of the gallery will contribute to making the venue a vibrant site engaged in creation, innovation, collaboration and arts presentation.

Popsart

Real Conversations Real Time. Popsart digital arts media platform creates content around the arts that’s, engaging yet insightful breaking through the silos of the individual art forms to connect audiences in new ways with fresh understandings.

Popsart creator and host Bec Mac has pioneered Arts media by taking viewers to the heart of the arts via often live, video-documented one-on-one interviews with creatives at their openings, exhibition, launches, studios, awards, and other events.
